Here's the Happy Birthday Boy! Of course.. you might wonder, since there seem to be more pictures of his sister, Callisto than of him. Well.. the boy is certainly much more active these days, so it's harder to catch him on film. I suspect it will only get worse before it gets better.. in oh, 30 years or so! :)

Had a lovely, laid-back Turkey Day with Grandma Candy and Grandpa Mike. Dinner was so yummy! Rowan was up to his usual hi-jinks and Callisto is crawling and getting into EVERYTHING! She seems impatient with crawling and is doing all she can to get herself to walk upright. Look out, world!

Visiting Auntie Tracy

Gail was up for a visit this past weekend and so the gang decided to come on down to see the exhibit that I put up in my library. Rowan really enjoyed it, if he wanted to spend more time in the meeting room, drawing on the whiteboards than looking at the stars. But he had lots of questions about the telescope and really dug tracking it on the computer as it crossed over Asia and came across the US. They also got to see some of the new sciences building with its pendulum, giant table of elements, timeline of the Earth, many kinds of rocks with fossils and the fertilization of an egg and its transformation from zygote into tadpole.

We then came over to my apartment for a little visit. Rowan had many mad experiments with mixing different flavored spritzers and water. He really wanted to see Loki, but things were too crazy for the old man to show his face. In all, a very pleasant day!

Rain was the theme for our latest meeting. We got to be a drop of water in the ocean, going up to the clouds, down to the Earth, into the streams and rivers and back to the ocean. Songs and music were a big part of the day.
