Rowan and I ventured out to Rochester together for the 60 Second Science Fair and had a BLAST!! Due to a snafu in communicaitons, we didn't get to meet up with Kolby, but hopefully we'll get to see "Bob the Builder" at Strong with him in a couple of weeks...

OK. Most of y'all probably already know about this and have listened to me whine incessantly about it over the past 6 months. But for the one of you who has NOT yet heard about my latest gig at work, I'd like to share with you:

September Afternoon

I spent the afternoon over at Autumn House just before they packed up for their trip South. We were trying for a video of Callisto.. she plays the kazoo! Unfortunately, every time I point the camera her way, she either wants the camera (who does that sound like? ) or she stops whatever she's doing and cries! The one time I had a shot at it, Rowan decided that he wanted to take a movie. So we got a little bit of it and if I can find the time, I will get that uploaded for all to see.

Pixies Learn about Water

We gathered and spent an afternoon at Oatka Creek over the weekend to spend some time with Water. Sean found an awesome fossil. We all saw crayfish, water spiders, minnows, and algae. A hunter has established a lookout near where we sat and Rowan was uber-excited to get to climb all the way up. After a fun afternoon of trying to avoid all the poison ivy, we returned to Autumn House for a Harvest meal. YUM!
